From Ashes has performed Dark Metal with passion since year 2001. Our line-up hasn't really changed during these years. We're young musicians living in Espoo, Finland. We've had a couple of gigs and two studio sessions.
From Ashes draws it's lyrical themes as well as the music itself from the Finnish nature and various philosophical and religious aspects. The music is somewhat influenced by bands like Soulgrind and Apocalyptica (Hail to them!).
We've tried to develop our own sound, look and feel. The symbolical "Warrior theme" can be seen in all our material. Not least in the song "In the Valley of Megiddo".
The release of "Dream of Eternity"-demo took quite a long time. The time will show people will react to this new release, but we're quite happy with it.
